Finally found the best Christmas lights.

I have thrown out too many strings of Christmas lights to count. This year at Crystal Cove in Tofino B.C. I saw the lights going up and had to remark on the brightness of the individual mini lights. The head gardener showed me how individual strings were connected and every thing was sealed to the weather and I was sold. Then I learned the distributing company was in BC and my order was placed. I started with 8 strings and the brilliant addition to our display was immediate. I will be placing an order in the new year to add to next year's display. Thank you Big Star Lights.😊

Great with small caveat

We put the Rockefeller line up on our 35 ft blue spruce out front. It looks spectacular and we've received so many compliments. The lights are bright, the colors really pop, and the twinkle adds the perfect amount of visual interest. Docking a star due to what I believe is a manufacturing defect (or oversight). Given the odd number of colors and bulbs in each line, the pattern ends up being inconsistent. There were a number of connection points where the strings end, and begin, with the same color, so you end up with doubles right next to each other, or the same colors one or two bulbs away from each other. It ends up throwing off an otherwise stunning look. The $15 lights from the department store can achieve a consistent look across multiple strings. I am genuinely surprised that that was not the case with these. Still love them. Just be aware.

After many years of wanting this we finally have it. I did my research. Reddit recommended big star lights. I wanted something that would last. Case in point during installation my husband stepped on one broke the outer bulb and the whole string still worked. I look forward to many years of enjoyment. They are sealed off from water! These guys are amazing.

Don’t go to Canadian Tire (every year) to buy lights. Buy everything from bigstarlights and yes they are but more expensive but you will save $$ over the years and they can be custom cut to size. I used the magnetic clips which worked 100%.
