Daniel Cowan is an entrepreneur, having pioneered the Christmas service industry 15 years ago. With his engineering background, he's worked extensively in Big Star Lights' product development and continues to bring to market products that professional installers and Christmas light enthusiasts love and trust.

He is passionate about bringing great ideas to life and enjoys the challenge of making complicated things more simple. He surrounds himself with positive people who are better at doing things than he is, but is equally thrilled to share lessons learned.
When he's not working on ideas on the ground, he's either taking a break in the sky as a commercial seaplane pilot, or sailing with family in remote corners of the world. Other moments of spare time are on mountain bikes or skis.Passionate about supporting installers, Daniel has dedicated his career to understanding the challenges of the industry and finding ways to help installers start and grow their businesses.
