I have thrown out too many strings of Christmas lights to count. This year at Crystal Cove in Tofino B.C. I saw the lights going up and had to remark on the brightness of the individual mini lights. The head gardener showed me how individual strings were connected and every thing was sealed to the weather and I was sold. Then I learned the distributing company was in BC and my order was placed. Great with small caveat

We put the Rockefeller line up on our 35 ft blue spruce out front. It looks spectacular and we've received so many compliments. The lights are bright, the colors really pop, and the twinkle adds the perfect amount of visual interest. Docking a star due to what I believe is a manufacturing defect (or oversight). Given the odd number of colors and bulbs in each line, the pattern ends up being inconsistent. There were a number of connection points where the strings end, and begin, with the same color, so you end up with doubles right next to each other, or the same colors one or two bulbs away from each other. It ends up throwing off an otherwise stunning look. The $15 lights from the department store can achieve a consistent look across multiple strings. I am genuinely surprised that that was not the case with these. Still love them. Just be aware.

Warm White Not Very Warm

These are described as Warm White. I cannot image what the brighter version of white would look like. The whole reason I resisted getting outdoor LED lights was because early versions absorbed light as opposed to brightening up a space. Granted, these are more “twinkly” than the early versions of LED’s but a more golden glow would be appreciated. Otherwise, the lights have lasted now halfway through their second winter outdoors. I like that they are waterproof which should make them last longer than traditional outdoor lights that don’t last long. Just wish the golden hue could be improved.

Love these for the most part, but really needs the coaxial connection most of the other lights have. It’s hard to integrate this with the rest of the system when you mostly using the coaxial connections with the rest of your products. Also with you could simplify ordering this with the bulbs and strings as a combo order without ordering Eve thing separate and hoping one didn’t fumble thr order and get sent the wrong thing. But, pretty happy otherwise.

I bought the G20 bulbs in warm white and I am extremely impressed. I was tired of replacing my cheap department store lights every two years and was frustrated with all of the plastic waste this causes. The G20 bulbs were very easy to screw into the E12 socket power cord. Both the bulbs and the cord feel much sturdier than the ones you can buy at the local hardware store, and I expect that they will last a lot longer as well. I was worried that the G20 bulbs might be too small, but I am very glad that I went with this size (over the G30). They are the perfect size for my small house and are not overpowering yet still very bright. The warm white colour is perfect. I've attached a photo which shows a close-up of the bulbs to show the brightness and colour (with bonus cat for size reference) as well as a picture of the lights on my house at dusk (you can see that even with a bit of sunlight left the lights illuminate the house nicely).

Promises that these clips should help to make my pro-lights look professional were short lived. I was just starting to hang my lights on my gutters only to find that these clips only go on one way and the light have to be pointed straight up and will fly off with the slightest wind! Guess it’s back to crappy tire for clips , though ugly, work

I was worried they wouldn't be bright enough with the row of lights on the top of the house and the street light right in front of our house. But they are plenty, bright and very visible. I love the red and green combo. The green is very bright and the red is bright too but less in your face which I like. So for that reason I would probably order more lights that are just red. They have just a wonderful glow to them. But I will also order more of the red and green combo.

We purchased these micro lights to replace the aging incandescent 5mm traditional string lights for our indoor, live Christmas tree. The lights could not be more perfect - they are very bright and so easy to work with. The string is light and flexible, but still sturdy, so it doesn’t weigh down the branches on the live tree. The wire is significantly narrower than on 5mm lights, so hiding it is less of a consideration. Used indoors I expect these lights will last indefinitely. I’m posting this review because when I bought, there were no reviews or photos of the lights used on indoor Christmas trees. I had to take a bit of a leap with my own purchase based on past positive experiences with Big Star Lights. But here is what they look like in real life - tree is approx 7.5 feet, very wide at the bottom, and was decorated with 8 strands. I could have made due with 7.
