Track Cutting Templates

Speed up your installation process with Big Star Lights’ Track Cutting Templates. These cleverly designed aluminum templates fit directly over your tracks, allowing you to mark precise cut lines exactly where you need them.

Once marked, you can cut with a mitre saw or aviation snips confidently, knowing your tracks will align cleanly with little to no gaps. Each template is engineered for consistency, helping installers achieve professional results faster and with less rework.

This set includes six templates (one for each track style) for straight and 45° angle cuts, along with four specialized peak cutting templates designed for hat track and 2-piece channel systems. These peak templates ensure a snug, accurate fit against BSL’s proprietary peak piece, which centers bulbs perfectly at the roof peak.
The peak piece includes clearly marked pitch guides for 8/12, 7/12, 6/12, 5/12, 4/12, 3/12, and 2/12 roof slopes, making it easy to achieve precise, repeatable results across your project.
