This lights are amazingly bright… the brown wire with the extra stretch allows for a much easier install , with no damage to your tree , the brown wire also blends with the tree natural colour!! Would highly recommend… !!!

We have not yet installed our patio lights but from what I see in the boxes they are well made and robust. We are just waking top our patio and gazebo and look forward to sending photo of everything in lights.

We purchased two so far and absolutely love them!! They are great for added security lighting surrounding our treed home. Love the theme lighting elements! The app makes changing themes and colours easy, although I haven’t been able to link the lights yet. ❤️

We wish it was twice the size as our trees are very large. Love the strap though, good for branches, although our trees are very old, tall and the branches cannot be reached. We love the lights!! They are fantastic.

I really like the white colour of these 'warm white' lights - the 'warm white' is not too yellow and not too clear white - it's a nice and soft glow but still bright CLEAN white colour. I put up 10 strings of this warm white and it looks really nice and bright lighting up the front of our home. It's easy to attach lights to each other or to the optional attachments. This is my first time doing a big Christmas display outside our home and I have to say it was pretty easy. The cables are not that bulky or heavy - they attach to each other easily. Living in Canada we've already had days of snow and even freezing rain and they are holding up great. I bought 10 strings of light and a few extension cables and am going to buy a few more strings of light next Christmas to make it look even better for next time! I wanted to invest in these as I heard they will last longer and I was tired of throwing out old strings of light that would only last a few years OR half the string would not work. I like the connectors are all air tight so no water gets in. It's only been a couple of months but so far really happy with them...hoping they will last for many many seasons!

I'm thinking about building a 14-metre wire-frame Christmas decoration. It would be reminiscent of decorations used by our city decades ago and remembered fondly by long-term residents. It would definitely be unique in the yard. I would need bulb spacing every two inches. I tested rope lights; I tested typical LED string lights; nothing really captured the old look. And one bulb failure could mean extensive maintenance. Then I bought a box of these multi-colour G30 bulbs to use as a sample kit. In black wire sockets, they would be absolutely perfect! I think I've found a local company to build the wire frames. Just two hurdles to go: convincing my wife and winning a lottery to pay for it!

I have thrown out too many strings of Christmas lights to count. This year at Crystal Cove in Tofino B.C. I saw the lights going up and had to remark on the brightness of the individual mini lights. The head gardener showed me how individual strings were connected and every thing was sealed to the weather and I was sold. Then I learned the distributing company was in BC and my order was placed. I started with 8 strings and the brilliant addition to our display was immediate. I will be placing an order in the new year to add to next year's display. Thank you Big Star Lights.😊

Light strand works but there is no power in the next strand when connecting to it - some how there is a faulty receiving plug on one end. Very disappointing as installed without testing and had to use an extension chord to light up the next strand. Ken Young kenyoung@sympatico.ca

We put the Rockefeller line up on our 35 ft blue spruce out front. It looks spectacular and we've received so many compliments. The lights are bright, the colors really pop, and the twinkle adds the perfect amount of visual interest. Docking a star due to what I believe is a manufacturing defect (or oversight). Given the odd number of colors and bulbs in each line, the pattern ends up being inconsistent. There were a number of connection points where the strings end, and begin, with the same color, so you end up with doubles right next to each other, or the same colors one or two bulbs away from each other. It ends up throwing off an otherwise stunning look. The $15 lights from the department store can achieve a consistent look across multiple strings. I am genuinely surprised that that was not the case with these. Still love them. Just be aware.
